Gil Vasseur needed a steel building he could use for agricultural storage on his farm that was tough enough to handle the heavy winter storms of New England.
He decided to erect the building himself and now refers to it as the Grandfather Project, as the building was erected by himself, one of his company employees, and three grandfathers aged 67, 68, and 79 years old!!
“I was very impressed; everyone at your company was very helpful.” He was also impressed with the strength as the winter after he erected his building they had record snowfall in New England. “Many buildings in my area collapsed this winter, except my Ironbuilt building.”
